happy monday on tuesday and a one post week...

Happy Tuesday folks!
Sometimes it just feels like time is flying around me at warp speed...well, last week was one of those weeks. Hence, the one post week...
Things are moving so fast in Chez Pea these days.  L'Pea is growing like a weed...it is like watching a video on fast forward some days.  I can't believe that he will be ten months old this weekend.  How is it possible that he has been in this world longer than he was in my belly???  How is it possible that we will soon be planning his first birthday?   Can we hit pause or rewind for a second?  I'm not ready to watch him grow so fast!  It is just surreal sometimes...
And how did I get so busy suddenly?  When did I start working so much?  I can't really pinpoint the day but all I know is I am staying quite busy these days...and loving it.  It's great to be feeling creative again after a bit of a hiatus (of the Peanut variety).
One of my most current projects is styling a friend's wedding.  Yesterday we were going over ideas for bouquets, boutonnieres and all things flora--one of my favorite topics--and I was inspired by these arrangements and bouquets in soft hues...

Flowers are amazing.  From romantic to nostalgic, sophisticated to sexy, the very presence of flowers can set the tone of a wedding or any other day, for that matter.  I guess that's why I love them so much...
I don't think I can choose a favorite.  Do you have one?  What would your ideal bouquet look like?

  1. I'm sooo guilty of the one post week (or one post month). But that just means you are living life to the fullest :)

Love the bouquet inspiration! I've always dreamed my bouquet would be my something blue- blue hydrangeas.

    1. I love hydrangeas...I had them in my bouquet. And I especially love blue ones...my grandmother has the most enormous blue hydrangea bushes in her garden. They are so beautiful!
