Happy Friday!!!
I am happy to report that I am currently typing in the South. (Where l'Pea and I belong!) And it is so good to be home.
Of course, like all good things, it didn't come without a little bit of bad...
Pea and I set out early in the morning for the airport, and what should have been a very routine travel day turned into a very long and traumatic day. And not for the reasons you would think. Monsueir l'Pea is already a seasoned traveler and has been on more than a dozen flights at ten months old. He is truly no trouble. The trouble was everything else...itineraries, delays, sick tummies...everything else. But we finally made it on the plane and my little boy immediately fell asleep. While he drifted deeper and deeper off to neverland, I watched his chubby little fingers curl around his silky and his long black eyelashes flutter, and all of the bad started melting away. It was just one of those perfect moments...and suddenly, the day that was so terrible was seeming not so bad.
While he slept, I snapped a few pictures because--as I have quickly learned--these perfect little moments are fleeting and have to be cherished...

By the end of the day, it was a good day, and that is how I will remember it...
May you have a beautiful weekend with lots of love, fun and plenty of sunshine!
