In a flourish of glitter, glamour and all things
glamorous, fashion week sweeps into New York twice a year with the grandest of fanfare and disappears as quickly as it appears. Now that the streets outside my building are quiet again (there are always a couple of shows next door...cool but the actual definition of insanity) I can finally begin to digest the whirlwind of a week. Whether it be minimalist make-up and hair, nods to the sixties (and even the nineties), pretty accessories, pops of color, or embellishments galore, there was plenty to like this time around.
